Michael Hay

Michael HayMichael received his BBA in Health Care Administration and his MA in Higher Education – Student Personnel Services from Eastern Kentucky University. Michael has worked for several years in providing services to students at the university level in the areas of student development and activities and enrollment management. Currently, he serves as the Director of KY’s Southeastern Migrant Education Program, a federal grant program at Eastern Kentucky University in the College of Education.

Michael is very committed to being involved in his community and helping others whenever he can. He has served in various capacities for professional and personal interests – EKU International Alumni Association, Richmond Tourism Commission, Beta Theta Pi Regional Advisor – District Chief, Leadership Madison County, Mike’s Kids Education Foundation and the Migrant Network Coalition, to name a few. He does not sit idle but rather takes his service to his profession and his community very seriously to help make a difference for others.

Michael accepted his invitation to serve on the Board of Directors for the Carin for Nurses Foundation to first, honor and assist his college friend, Carin Addams to make her dream a reality; and secondly, to establish a sound operational structure to carry out the mission of aiding nurses in need while telling others Carin’s story so that they, too, can be blessed as well.
