Dana Steffey has been a nurse for 22 years. She knew nursing was her passion when her grandmother came to live with her family. In helping with her care and also observing the great service given by the Home Health nurses, she knew she’d found her calling. Dana has a mix of direct patient and managed care experience. She is currently a Senior Project Manager for Quality at United Healthcare. She received her certification in Managed Care in 2010 and graduated from Drexel University with a BA in Health Services Administration.
Dana is married and has one daughter. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, swimming and playing tennis. She volunteers for Hospice of the Bluegrass and now Carin for Nurses. She is excited to see where this organization will lead and the many lives it will benefit.
