Being the sister of Carin Addams, the founder of Carin for Nurses, was reason enough for Christy to take pride in serving on the Board of Directors. As difficult as it was to see her sister battle breast cancer in 2005, it was even harder for her to watch it again, yet admired her amazing determination to fight it in 2010 when she faced a recurrence. Observing Carin’s selfless efforts to form a nonprofit organization to help nurses gives her great excitement to as to what the future holds for Carin for Nurses and is honored to be part of this nonprofit organization
